FALMOUTH, Maine — A crash on Interstate 295 in Falmouth caused a "full shutdown" during Friday's evening commute.
The crash happened heading northbound near mile marker 10, according to a Maine State Police post around 4:45 p.m.
In an update at 5:30 p.m., state police said one lane had reopened. Travel was expected to be slow. Police urged drivers to use caution.
Earlier, traffic was diverted off Exit 10, according to state police.
A NEWS CENTER Maine crew at the scene reported around 5:45 p.m. that both lanes had reopened and traffic was moving. A vehicle had appeared to be in a ditch.
