WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- D.C. police arrested a suspect after a man was shot and killed in Southeast last year.
The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said that on Nov. 20, 2024, officers responded to the 5500 block of B St. SE for a reported shooting just after 7:25 p.m.
Officers found a man who had been shot. He was unconscious and not breathing when they arrived.
Responders took him to the hospital, where he died two days later.
MPD identified the victim as 28-year-old Christopher Robinson of Southeast.
On Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025, officers found and arrested 24-year-old Jaheim Brown of Waldorf, Md. Brown was extradited to D.C. and charged with first-degree murder while armed (premeditated).
