LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - Several volunteers have dedicated their time to keeping the Louisville Cemetery beautiful, but now, they’re realizing they may need a little more help after finding out the cemetery no longer has any staff.

“It’s still heavy...it’s still heavy, it’s still a lot,” said Tammy Fletcher, whose brother is buried at the cemetery.

The last time WAVE spoke with Tammy Fletcher was in August , when she, along with several others who have family buried at the cemetery, came together to clean it up after several graves had been neglected.

She said since then, she’s started a page on Facebook, and has had multiple former cemetery staff members reach out to her.

Those former staff want to keep their identities private, but told Fletcher everyone who worked at the cemetery
