LAKE CITY − A judge heard further testimony from the ex-girlfriend of Congressman Cory Mills about why he should approve a at a Sept. 26 hearing, which also included new information about the congressman's marital status.
Lindsey Langston, and a Columbia County Republican state committeewoman, has accused Mills of threatening to of her and possibly beat up any future romantic partners she might have.
The hearing had been continued from Sept. 5, when the parties exceeded the 90 minutes Columbia County Circuit Judge Fred Koberlein, Jr., had allotted.
During the Sept. 26 hearing, both Mills and Langston were brought back to the stand, and their lawyers made closing arguments to Koberlein, who asked them to submit proposed written orders by Thursday, Oct. 2, before he rules.
