This year, the price of admission at the Tulsa State Fair went up a little, from $15 to $17. A full day there can add up quickly, but many people say it’s always worth it.

Destiny Alpuche-Cook and her family shared curly fries on Friday for $10.

“I think it’s fair, considering the size of it, ya.”

At one corn dog vendor, employees say prices are the same as last year: a regular corn dog is $7, and a jumbo is $9.

Employee Tammy Hunter estimates the cost of lunch for a family of four.

“I would say if everybody gets a corn dog and everybody gets a drink, probably about $60,” Hunter said.
