LUBBOCK, Texas -- In a statement released on social media, the Clovis Police Department announced that it had executed a search warrant at the 150 block of El Camino Street in Clovis, N.M. During the search, officers apprehended several items, such as firearms, money and narcotics.

The initial search warrant stemmed from an investigation into a short-barreled rifle found on September 13. Once obtained, Clovis PD executed the warrant on Friday morning, alongside the Region 5 Drug Task Force and the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco Firearms and Explosives.

After the search, the agencies recovered an abundance of firearms and ammunition, including five rifles, two braced AR pistols and six additional pistols. In
