Long Beach could soon update its regulations for food truck operations across the city.

The City Council received a presentation during its Tuesday, Sept. 23, meeting that detailed the proposed changes for a potential Mobile Food Facilities Ordinance. The ordinance would provide operators with clear permits, licenses, and regulation requirements; general operating requirements; location regulations; safety standards; penalties and enforcement, and more.

Long Beach has been developing this proposed ordinance for years.
