MONROE, La. (KNOE) - Since January, Grow NELA says it has followed up on 43 new business leads worth $17.6 billion in potential economic development, creating 56-hundred jobs.
In a Facebook post, the nonprofit organization says the Meta Data Center and Entergy’s investment in Northeast Louisiana is “driving this momentum, putting the region on the global map and drawing companies to explore new opportunities here”.
Meta, the parent company of Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms, has already said it would invest 1,500 megawatts of renewable energy in Louisiana and $200 million in water and road infrastructure in Richland Parish
