CLOVIS, N.M. (KFDA) — The Clovis Police Department’s Special Operations Unit, with assistance from the Region 5 Drug Task Force and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, executed a firearms-related search warrant Friday morning at a home in Clovis.
Officers served the warrant around 9:23 a.m. at 153 El Camino St. as part of an investigation into a short-barreled rifle recovered on Sept. 13.
During the search, authorities seized five rifles — including a short-barreled rifle — two braced AR-style pistols, six handguns, multiple high-capacity magazines, thousands of rounds of ammunition, psilocybin mushrooms and about $40,000 in cash.
