LAURENS COUNTY, Ga. — After a five-month search, the Laurens County School District announced Otha J. Hall as its sole finalist for superintendent, positioning the district's current associate superintendent to take the helm when Superintendent Clifford Garnto retires in December.

Hall, a lifelong product of the Laurens County educational system, brings decades of experience within the district to the role. From his early days as a student to his current administrative position, Hall has maintained deep ties to the community he now prepares to lead.

"For one, I'm a product of the Laurens County educational school system and then the Laurens County Board of Education school system were also one of the first ones to give me an opportunity to do what I love to do," Hall said.
