LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Thousands will be riding the streets of Little Rock and the surrounding areas tomorrow, celebrating the 20th year of the Big Dam Bridge 100 Cycling Tour .

However, the event organizers are hoping that this year will help them return to pre-COVID numbers.

“11,000 pounds of ice, 2000 gallons of water, 250 pounds of peanut butter, 400 volunteers. Our signage crew is going to be out at 2 a.m. tomorrow morning. You have over 100 law enforcement officers. It is truly a massive scale,” said Bruce Dunn, the Executive Director of the Big Dam Bridge 100 Cycling Tour.

He said that this event takes a whole year to plan and takes over 100 law enforcement officers to protect the riders. but Dunn told me that it’s also an event for all ages and all abilities.
