Reds break unbreakable streak, make huge move in NL Wild Card standings

The Cincinnati Reds did something that hadn't seemed possible in a while.

They beat Quinn Priester.

The Milwaukee Brewers had won the last 19 games in which Priester took the mound for them, an almost unfathomable stretch but nonetheless a quite intimidating one.

How would the Reds make up ground in the NL Wild Card race when opposed by Priester on Friday night?

Answer: By getting a great outing from Zack Littell and adding some timely hitting.

In the end, the Reds won 3-1.

Cincinnati hasn't been to the postseason since 2020, but now the Reds' destiny is controlled in their own hands.
