SALT LAKE CITY — Salt Lake City’s Maven Block Party is back for its seventh year, transforming a street into a celebration of women-led businesses, creativity and community. Organizers said this event isn’t just a market, it’s about empowering women entrepreneurs and connecting them with the community.

With more than 100 booths, the block party mixes shopping, food, music and hands-on experiences. But organizers said it’s less about the shopping and more about sparking inspiration.

This year, Maven is teaming up with the Children’s Entrepreneur Market , helping young people learn the power of business and storytelling.

Their hope is that people leave not just with something new in their bag, but with a stronger connection to the community
