The Goffs Million (3.45 Curragh) is Europe’s richest race for juveniles, so it’s no surprise that a full field of 30 are set to go to post. Despite the numbers, the market points firmly to one horse, the Aidan O’Brien-trained Composing, although bookmakers are taking no chances at 8/11.

At those odds it looks a race to watch rather than bet in, especially as the favourite could only manage fourth of seven in the Group One Moyglare 13 days ago. Still, she does have Group Two-winning form to her name and is rated 6lb clear of nearest rival Green Sense, so remains the one to beat.
