In a defensive battle, neither Mifflin County nor Palmyra flinched for most of the night, but a 2-point conversion by Mifflin County’s Dodger Weaver, and a key pass breakup on a Palmyra 2-point conversion attempt in the third quarter proved to be the difference in an offensive slog on Friday night at Mifflin County’s Chapman Stadium.
For most of the night, neither team could get much going offensively without having a drive stall due to a penalty or a turnover.
