MOUNT HOLLY — Camden senior cornerback Jeremiah Steeley has a knack for making big plays toward the end of games. He also makes plenty of big plays throughout games, but the late ones are remembered the most and for good reason.
In a game where defenses dominated, Steeley had the biggest play to lead Camden to an 8-6 win over Rancocas Valley in a matchup between two highly ranked West Jersey Football League Colonial Division teams.
Rancocas Valley, playing its third straight game without injured standout quarterback Sayvien Adams, cut the Camden lead to 8-6 when Jameer Bellamy burst through the middle for a 7-yard touchdown run with 2:18 left in the fourth quarter.
The Red Devils then went for the tie and that is when Steeley stole the game for Camden.
