35-Year-Old Motorcyclist Was Killed When Two Drivers Fled the Scene
Detectives with the Los Angeles Police Department’s South Traffic Division are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying two drivers involved in a fatal hit-and-run collision that claimed the life of a 35-year-old motorcyclist, according to the LAPD.
The crash occurred on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2025, around 12:55 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway, police said. According to investigators, a silver van traveling westbound attempted to make a left turn in front of an eastbound motorcyclist. The motorcyclist lost control and was then struck by an older-model pickup truck traveling westbound.
Both drivers fled the scene without providing aid to the victim. This was the second hit-and-run in Los Angeles on September 25, 2025
