Udupi, Sep 27: In a shocking incident, Saifuddin, a rowdy sheeter, was shot dead at Malpe on on Saturday September 27.

Saifuddin, who was also involved in the transport business based in Manipal, came under attack when unidentified assailants opened fire at him.

Sources said that after shooting him, the attackers further assaulted him.

Udupi superintendent of police Hariram Shankar visited the spot and reviewed the situation.
