Hyderabad, Sep 27: Around 1,000 residents in low-lying areas of Hyderabad were shifted to relief camps after the Musi river swelled due to heavy rains across the city and other parts of Telangana, officials said on Saturday.

The evacuees, moved late Friday, are being provided with food and essential supplies. Floodwaters also entered the Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS), a major transport hub, forcing authorities to suspend bus services temporarily. Passengers waiting at the complex were safely relocated.
