TOLEDO, Ohio ( WTVG /Gray News) - A shooting in Ohio has left a teen dead and another teenager under arrest.
Toledo police said they were called to the scene of a shooting Thursday night at a residence on Walker Avenue.
According to Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz, a 14-year-old was playing video games with another friend, also 14, that evening when they began playing with a gun.
The 14-year-old friend ended up accidentally shooting the other boy in the head, the mayor said. The victim was taken to an area hospital but later died.
Authorities said the teen has since been charged with reckless homicide and was booked into the juvenile justice center.
Police did not release any further immediate information.
