SCHOFIELD – When the 2025 Wisconsin Valley Conference girls golf tournament met its end at Crane Meadows Golf Course, it was D.C. Everest being crowned overall champions, for the first time in school history.

The stellar tournament performance turned in multiple nods of achievement for the Evergreens, with Everest senior Anna Meyer placing in the top-three in the individual standings.

The win was a sight the Evergreens did not anticipate, but gladly welcomed.

“Feels pretty cool,” Meyer said. “I mean, we have fun at practice every day. And it's really cool that all of us are placed in first team, second team and honorable mentions.

“It's really cool because we haven't always been a team that's been super successful. So it's awesome that this year we had so much success.”
