AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Saturday, there will be live entertainment alongside a free health screening at the Fiesta de Salud Health Fair.
The annual event is hosted by both the city of Austin as well as Austin Public Health (APH). It's a chance for communities to get healthier while also having an emphasis on Hispanic/Latino culture, according to organizers.
The event begins at 11 a.m. and will run until 2 p.m. at the Pan Am Rec Center.
According to APH's 2023 Critical Health Indicators report, there were health disparities facing certain populations.
