At least five people died and one was critically injured on Saturday after the black Mahindra Thar they were travelling in rammed into a highway divider near the Jharsa Flyover on the Gurugram-Delhi-Jaipur Highway (NH-48).

The accident occurred at around 4:30 AM as the Thar, carrying 6 people from Uttar Pradesh towards Gurugram, attempted to exit National Highway 48 via Exit 9 (Rajiv Chowk exit).
