Kothagudem: Security forces seized a firearms making workshop allegedly run by Maoists in the Mettaguda forest area of Sukma district in Chhattisgarh.
A joint search operation was launched by the district police and the CRPF’s CoBRA 203 Battalion on Saturday. A large quantity of weapons, ammunition and machinery was recovered by the police.
During the search operation in the forest and hills surrounding Koimenta village, security forces recovered vertical milling machine, two barrel grenade launchers (BGLs), 12 empty BGL shells, 94 BGL heads, a hand grinder machine and three directional IEDs and other material.
