State Administration Issues Guidelines to Ensure Smooth and Safe Durga Puja Celebration

To ensure a peaceful, well-coordinated, and successful celebration of the upcoming Durga Puja festival across all districts, the state administration has laid out detailed guidelines and assigned specific responsibilities to concerned authorities and Puja committees after holding consultative meetings in each district.

Sub-Divisional Magistrates (SDMs), line departments, police, Tripura State Rifles, Fire & Emergency Services, and health officials have been instructed to work in close coordination with local Puja committees to prevent any lapses in safety, security, or overall management.

As part of the directives, Sub-Divisional level consultation meetings have already been held with all Puja committees. Organisers are required to obtain prior approval for pandal construction and prepar
