Ladakh protests : Activist Sonam Wangchuk was arrested in connection with the September 24 violence in Leh, under the National Security Act (NSA) on Friday and was shifted to Jodhpur Central Jail, known for heightened three-layer security, hours later.

According to officials, he will be kept in a solitary cell that will be actively overseen by CCTVs, NDTV reported. Under tight security arrangements, including the city police commissioner, he was taken to the prison center via a special plane.
