Lehigh Valley International Airport achieved a milestone this summer, setting a new record with 299,779 passengers traveling through the facility during the June-August period.

The record-breaking travel season caps months of strong performance at ABE, which has maintained passenger counts above 85,000 monthly since March.

August alone brought 97,179 passengers through the airport, marking a 0.75% increase compared to the same month in 2024 when 96,460 passengers used the facility.

“Since March, ABE hasn’t seen less than 85,000 passengers per month, and we’re appreciative that people across our region are choosing to Fly Local,” said Thomas R. Stoudt, executive director of the Lehigh-Northampton Airport Authority.
