BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - After a nice soaking rain on Thursday and Thursday night, our first weekend of fall will be one of the sunniest and nicest weekends we could get all season long.

Today, skies will be overwhelmingly sunny, with only a few clouds entering from the SW later this evening. Skies will still be mostly sunny by sunset, before clouds build into the overnight. Highs will vary from the low 60s to mid 70s. NW winds will transition to SW winds this evening, with gusts peaking around 20 mph today.
