The lead singer of soulDecision wants his $20K back.
The Canadian pop trio, which was fronted by singer Trevor Guthrie, is best known for their hits “Ooh It’s Kinda Crazy” and “Faded” in the early 2000s.
Guthrie claims that last year, he hired Steve Best to film his re-cording sessions in Penticton, Vancouver, Nashville TN, and Sweden. Guthrie agreed to pay Best’s travel, accommodations, car rentals, and related expenses – in exchange for footage.
“I paid a total of $19,795.59 CAD, including flights, accommodations, car rentals, and the cost of an 8TB hard drive purchased for him to deliver the files,” Guthrie said in a lawsuit filed at the Penticton Courthouse. “Despite this, the defendant has not provided the promised footage.
