BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. (KKTV) - One person is dead after a bicycle crash in Boulder County.

According to Colorado State Patrol (CSP), troopers responded to the crash on Friday at 7:41 p.m. The crash involved a bicyclist and a 2006 Honda SUV on Highway 287 and Boulder County Road 4.

The bicyclist, a man in his mid-twenties, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Honda, a 50-year-old man, was not injured. The driver of the Honda remained at the scene, troopers said.

CSP is leading the investigation into the incident. The cause of the crash has not been determined.

The southbound lane of Highway 287 was closed, and southbound traffic was diverted while crews cleared the scene.
