PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- The first atmospheric river of the fall season moves into the Pacific Northwest this weekend.
A mix of sunshine and clouds will find its way into western Oregon and Washington on Saturday. The increase in cloud coverage this weekend is the start of a weak atmospheric river moving into the Pacific Northwest.
Dry conditions remain for much of the Willamette Valley and higher elevations of Oregon and Washington. Clouds will continue to increase across the region on Sunday as temperatures fall to the mid-70s. Rain chances aren't expected to return until early Monday morning.
