A former Massachusetts man has pleaded guilty to several bank robberies across Connecticut, officials said .

Taylor Dziczek, 43, formerly of Chicopee, Mass., pleaded guilty Friday before U.S. District Judge Sarala Nagala in Hartford to bank robbery charges, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Connecticut .

According to court documents and statements made in court, the FBI and state and local law enforcement investigated a series of robberies of banks and credit unions that occurred between September 2021 and August 2022 in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Vermont, and New Hampshire that appeared to have been committed by the same individual.

During the investigation, Dziczek was identified as a suspect in the robbery of Peoples United Bank at 117 East St. in Plainville on May 26,
