PORTLAND, Ore. — Labeling protesters outside the ICE facility in Portland as ‘anarchists,’ President Donald Trump this week again threatened to do ‘a pretty big number’ on the sanctuary city.
Speaking to journalists from the White House, Trump referred to the protesters as ‘crazy people,’ who were trying to burn down buildings.
President Trump said, ‘We are going to get out there and do a pretty big number……they’re professional agitators and anarchists.’
Earlier this week, Trump signed an executive order declaring Antifa a terrorist group. Rose City Antifa was founded in Portland in 2007. It is an antifascist, leftist group, and the oldest active Antifa group in the U.S. The Portland group was the first to adopt the abbreviated Antifa moniker.
