Bhubaneswar : Security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district have dismantled a Maoist “ordnance factory” designed to manufacture weapons and explosives targeting security personnel. Acting on intelligence inputs, a joint team of Sukma District Force and the elite 203rd battalion of CoBRA located the factory on a forested hill near Koimenta village.

The security forces seized a vertical milling machine, two BGL units, 12 empty BGL shells, 94 BGL heads, a hand grinder machine, six wooden rifle butts, trigger mechanisms for muzzle-loaders and pistols, solar batteries, a borewell drilling bit, directional IED pipes, steel pipe pieces for BGL, and a large quantity of iron scraps.
