ST. PETERS — A 35-year-old man was killed Thursday after being struck by a car while he was crossing Mexico Road, according to St. Peters police. Gregory Waggoner of Wright City was walking across the street at Stoll Lane just west of Spencer Road. At 6:20 a.m., he was hit by a Nissan Sentra heading east. Waggoner was taken to a hospital and died later that day, police said. The driver was uninjured and is cooperating with the investigation, officials said.
