It’s been 14 years since model and influencer Courtney Stodden married Doug Hutchison, a former actor 35 years her senior. Stodden, just 16 at the time, shocked the world with the announcement. The couple wed in Las Vegas , where the legal age to marry without parental consent is 18 years old.

Stodden and Hutchison remained married for nine years before finalizing their divorce in 2020, and now, Lifetime is releasing a new movie about the duo, titled “I Was a Child Bride: The Courtney Stodden Story .”
