A man was killed and a woman was injured in a shooting Friday night in Uptown.

Officers responding to a call found an 18-year-old man unresponsive on the street in the 1200 block of West Sunnyside Avenue around 11:50 p.m., Chicago police said.

The man suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was taken to Illinois Masonic Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said. His name hasn’t been released.

Officers also found a woman, 27, who was shot in the arm. She was taken to the same hospital in good condition, police said.

No arrests were made.
