Manchester United lost their third Premier League game of the season as they went down 3-1 at Brentford on Saturday.

United found themselves 2-0 down inside 20 minutes, with Igor Thiago scoring twice as Brentford exploited the ongoing defensive frailties of Ruben Amorim's side. Benjamin Sesko scored his first United goal to give the Reds hope of a comeback.

Bruno Fernandes had the chance to make it 2-2 from the spot in the second half after Bryan Mbeumo was brought down in the area but his penalty was saved by Caoimhin Kelleher. Mathias Jensen scored late on to make it 3-1.
