One thing was certain on Friday night, Sept. 26 at Little Caesars Arena — nobody was dozing off during Sleep Token’s concert there.

The English rock group brought a lot to see, and listen to, during its 90-minutes on stage — and sometimes to a fault. The band is as averse to embracing a static musical identity as it is to reveal the seven musicians’ true identities behind the masks and costumes they wear. And yet Sleep Token has established a monolithic, deistic presence for its fans — a nearly sold-out crowd at LCA, just a couple blocks away from the Masonic Temple Theatre where Sleep Token played two years ago.
