The 2025 edition of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup will feature eight teams, and a total of 31 matches will be played across four venues in India and one in Sri Lanka from September 30 to November 2. The Indian women’s cricket team, which will play under the leadership of Harmanpreet Kaur, would like to end the 52-year-long wait and win their first-ever ICC title in front of home fans.
Seven-time champions Australia, four-time winners England, 2000-edition champion New Zealand and South Africa will be the other top contenders for the title.
