Four Edmonton Starbucks locations will be serving their final caramel macchiatos Saturday.

As part of the global coffee chain’s restructuring plan, four Edmonton cafes will close Saturday. Staff at these locations were notified Thursday that this weekend would be their last.

The Starbucks to be closed are located at:

3466 99 St. NW

6735 25 Ave. SW

In a Sept. 25 open letter, Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol wrote that the company would finish this fiscal years with 18,300 locations, down one per cent from the previous years. A total of 900 storefront jobs would be cut.
