She was appointed to the Central jury for the 71st National Film Awards in 2025.

Shah Rukh Khan bagged his first National Award for Jawan at the 71st National Film Awards. Prakruti Mishra, who was a jury member at the ceremony, got a chance to meet the ‘Baadshah’ of Bollywood. Later, in a heartfelt post on Instagram, the 30-year-old talked about their candid interaction, which she had been waiting for a long time, and also revealed how his win “felt personal" to her.
