MINNEAPOLIS − Rutgers football has left another starter to a season-ending injury.

Linebacker Moses Walker is out for the rest of the season after suffering an injury in the Scarlet Knights ' loss to Iowa on Sept. 19, according to a source.

Walker, a product of Erasmus Hall in Brooklyn, stepped into a starting role this season after Rutgers lost Tyreem Powell and Mohamed Toure.

Without Walker, Abram Wright will start at linebacker alongside Dariel Djabome.

It's a disappointing setback for Walker, who was the No. 1 recruit in New York for the Class of 2022 according to the 247Sports Composite.
