After an emotional Game 3 at home, the Phoenix Mercury are one win away from their first trip to the WNBA Finals since 2021.
A lot has happened in the semifinals for the Mercury to push the top-seeded Minnesota Lynx to the brink of elimination, including a massive second-half comeback in Game 2 and the Big 3 of Kahleah Copper, Alyssa Thomas and Satou Sabally all performing at a high level.
But Game 3 might have dealt a devastating blow to the Lynx when star Napheesa Collier went down with an apparent left ankle injury with 21.8 seconds remaining in the game. Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve said Collier "probably has a fracture," putting her status in jeopardy.
