Two Americans shared the lead at the end of round 2 Friday (Sept. 26) of the Fortinet Cup Championship at Morgan Creek Golf Course.
Michael Brennan and Derek Hitchner each sat at 11-under par and shared the 36-hole lead at the end of round two Friday (Sept. 26).
"Brennan set the early pace with a course-record 7-under 63 in the morning wave, but his mark didn’t last long. Hitchner, playing in the afternoon, fired an 8-under 62 to claim a share of the lead and set a new course record," noted a press release from pgatour.com .
They both tee off at 1 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 27) for round three.
