SCREVEN COUNTY, Ga. (WTOC) - The Georgia Bureau of Investigtaion is investigating after two people were found dead in a vehicle in Screven County.
According to the GBI, preliminary information indicates Georgia State Patrol responded to a call just after 3 a.m. Saturday regarding an accident on Highway 301 South, just outside Sylvania City limits.
When officers arrived, they found 30-year old Lean Tolbert Jr. and 30-year-old Brandon Counts, both of Sylvania, inside the car, each suffering from one gunshot wound. Tolbert, Jr was pronounced dead on the scene.
Counts was taken the hospital for treatment, but died a short time later.
