Lola Young’s manager, who once repped the late Amy Winehouse, suddenly pulled the “Messy” singer out of a concert in New Jersey on Friday “due to a sensitive matter,” citing her mental health.
The 24-year-old British singer was slated to perform at the Prudential Center’s star-studded Audacy’s We Can Survive show — alongside the likes of Ed Sheeran, the Goo Goo Dolls, and Shaboozey — before manager Nick Shymansky “advised” her against performing.
“Lola is very open about her mental health and there are very occasionally days where myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe,” Shymansky wrote on Young’s Instagram Story.
“She is an incredible person and always takes her fans, career and performances seriously,” he continued. “I can only send huge apologies for
