A Michigan man is accused of pistol-whipping his girlfriend — his senior by 14 years — inside of his car and shooting the gun as they sat in the enclosed space.

Bradly Carl Dickens, 48, faces charges including unlawful imprisonment, assault with intent to do great bodily harm, domestic violence, possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

On Aug. 30, at about 11:30 a.m., Dickens is alleged to have attacked his girlfriend — a 62-year-old woman — at her home on the 15200 block of Kerstyn Street in Taylor. The defendant also hails from the city, which is located just to the southeast of Detroit, authorities said.
