OCEANSIDE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) -- The 16th Annual "Write on, Oceanside!" Literary Festival is returning to Oceanside.

Hosted by the Oceanside Public Library and Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation, the event aims to celebrate, showcase and inspire local authors. It features local author readings, kids craft activities, and local authors selling and signing books.

The festival also features two free workshops in the library community rooms.

At 10:30 a.m. authors Clive Gill, Pat Spencer, Christopher Long, and Jolie Tunnell will share their experience getting their books published.

"Zine Workshop" will take place at 12:30 p.m. where attendees can learn to make a self-published booklet with guidance from graphic artist Vince Alvendia.

The festival will take place in the Civic Center Librar
