Nineteen people were injured after a Friday night football game at Scott Stadium in Charlottesville, where Virginia pulled off a historic win over Florida State, a university spokesperson confirmed.
On Friday evening, a "large number" of spectators rushed the field at Scott Stadium, prompting law enforcement officers to "[immediately take] action to maintain public safety," a University of Virginia spokesperson told Nexstar's WRIC.
